Travis Depew

Travis was born and raised in Seattle, and attended Washington State University, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, before receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in San Diego at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. He has advanced training in treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and has had the privilege of sitting in on several surgeries, including hip and knee replacement, and rotator cuff repair. He is an advocate of "relative rest" while recovering from injury or surgery, utilizing restorative exercises, and manual therapy techniques for improving movement and performance.
He has previously taken advanced courses on rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee, with particular emphasis on rehabilitation from shoulder or knee surgeries including rotator cuff repair, ACL, and meniscal surgeries; working with athletes performing in baseball, football, basketball, and racquet sports. He is also certified in utilization of Blood Flow Restriction training (BFR) in rehabilitation, which can aid in recovery from injury, and in sooner achievement of muscle growth and strengthening.
Travis spends his free time with his wife and kids, rooting on the local Seattle sports teams.
